Felix Laboy
President and General Manager
Felix B. Laboy leads the newly formed Sabre Hospitality Solutions in providing the most comprehensive marketing and distribution tools for the hospitality industry. Laboy was co-founder of E-site Marketing, the preeminent hospitality Internet Marketing service company in the world. Over the next 10 years, he established strategic direction and oversaw company performance, growth and operations. He is considered a pioneer in the development and integration of many hospitality Internet marketing best practices and solutions that are today replicated and embraced industry-wide. Sabre Holdings acquired E-site Marketing in 2007.
Prior to establishing E-site Marketing, Laboy dedicated 20 years to an impressive career in hotel and travel marketing. He held numerous executive positions at leading hotel companies including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C., Westin Hotels and Resorts, ANA Hotels and The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. In addition, he served as executive vice president of the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau.
As a graduate of the prestigious School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, Laboy is an active alumnus and currently serves on the Cornell University Council as well as the Hotel School Marketing Roundtable. Laboy was named to HSMAI's Top 25 Extraordinary Sales and Marketing Minds of 2008.
Stephen Fitzgerald
Chief Operating Officer
Stephen Fitzgerald is Chief Operating Officer of Sabre Hospitality Solutions. As COO, he oversees combined operations of the various components of Sabre Hospitality Solutions, including customer care, data services, implementations, call center, and similar services. As part of the Sabre Hospitality management team he helps to drive overall group strategy. In his pan-Sabre hotel segment role, he works to align strategy, tactics and supplier relationships across Sabre hotel points of sale, including Travel Network and Travelocity.
Prior to this, he served as vice president of global hotel, car, rail and cruise distribution for Sabre Travel Network. He headed relationships with hotel, car, cruise and rail chains through oversight of the Sabre account management teams, with responsibility for overall hotel and car global distribution operations and strategy.
Fitzgerald joined Sabre from Hotwire.com, an on-line travel site founded by Texas Pacific Group (a current owner of Sabre Holdings), and a number of US airlines. At Hotwire Fitzgerald served as vice president, hotel relations and operations. Under his leadership, hotel offerings grew from 30 to 530+ US and International markets, with volume growth from less than one thousand to over ten thousand room nights per day.
Previously, Fitzgerald founded a hospitality data reporting and management company, served as vice president of sales and marketing for a 65-unit private hotel ownership chain, and served as General Manager of two successive all-suite properties. He holds a bachelor of science, business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
David Meltzer
Senior Vice President, Global Business Development
David Meltzer leads the global sales and account teams for Sabre Hospitality Solutions with a team of talented executives across five continents. By implementing a consultative sales approach, Meltzer ensures Sabre Hospitality Solutions services are aligned with its customers' strategic business goals. Previously Meltzer was with SynXis where his high-energy leadership helped SynXis become one of the fastest growing and largest providers of complete reservation technology and marketing services for the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Sabre in 2002, Meltzer worked in the gaming and hospitality industries at the executive level in various sales and operations roles.
Meltzer has served a number of industry advisory groups and is currently a board member for the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research. Meltzer earned his BA in History from American University and holds a Master's degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.
Tom Murray
Chief Technology Officer
Tom Murray oversees the Technology Team at Sabre Hospitality Solutions and is responsible for all aspects of Product Development, Product Support, Systems Operations and Professional Services. Previously Murray was with SynXis and prior to that he was a member of the Technology Team at hubX that developed the CRS solution which later become a foundation for the SynXis CRS product offerings.
Murray has over 25 years experience in the Technology Industry spanning Applications Development, System and Network Operations and Enterprise Architecture. Prior to the Hospitality Industry, he has worked in the Insurance, Banking, and Energy industries which have provided him with a diverse background in applications software and technology platforms in mission-critical business environments.
Murray has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Boston College and has completed extensive Masters Level coursework in Business Administration and Information Technology.
Bruce Hyatt
Vice President, Strategy
Bruce Hyatt leads the Sabre Hospitality Solutions' strategy team, overseeing the long-term strategic planning as well as strategic partnerships and acquisitions for the organization, including the recent acquisition of SoftHotel. Previously, Hyatt was with SynXis where he led the Marketing and Product Marketing teams and was instrumental in the initial acquisitions of SynXis and E-site Marketing by Sabre Holdings. After joining Sabre in 1998, Hyatt worked on numerous facets of electronic hotel distribution, including travel agency hotel booking products, supplier e-service portal applications, marketing partnerships/business development, and managing both operational and account management teams.
Hyatt earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University.
Kristie Goshow
Vice President, Marketing
Kristie Goshow leads Sabre Hospitality Solutions' global marketing team in all aspects of the product marketing process, marketing communication activities, and marketing partnerships.
Prior to joining Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Kristie was the Chief Opportunity Officer of smart Thynking FZE, a distribution marketing consultancy specializing in the hospitality and travel sectors. Kristie successfully launched Dubai's first food & beverage distribution solution called ‘Table4ME' which provides hoteliers and restaurateurs with a leading, web-based table management system and customer facing booking widget.
Kristie spent over six years in Dubai leading the Distribution, eCommerce and Innovation functions for the Jumeirah Group. With an extensive background in airline, hotel representation, agency and travel technology spanning eighteen years, including roles in Freight and Cargo operations, CRM, Marketing and Corporate Sales with Virgin Atlantic and Scandinavian Airlines, Ecommerce and Travel Industry Sales with Utell / Pegasus and Le Meridien Hotels, Kristie is considered a thought leader in her field.
A published author and regular speaker at industry conferences, seminars and events, Kristie has previously served on the HEDNA (Hotel Electronic Distribution Networking Association) Board of Directors, held a seat on the Travolution Advisory Board and most currently assumed the role of Secretary for the newly formed HSMAI (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) Chapter for the UAE.
Kim Tisdale
Vice President, Service Delivery
Kim Tisdale is the Vice President of Service Delivery operations for Sabre Hospitality Solutions which includes: Implementations; Training, Data Services and Customer Care. Previously Tisdale was with SynXis and brings with her the experience of 18 years working in the hotel industry - both unit and corporate level. Starting off in Outbound Sales for Trusthouse Forte (future Forte and Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts), she steadily learnt the business through a variety of sales and account management positions covering all market segments until moving into electronic distribution as part of Forte's CRS migration.
Tisdale has held key positions in data services and voice reservations for Hilton and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, taking strategic and hands-on roles in projects covering CRS migrations, business development, system design, policy/procedure best practices and much more.
Robert Dawson
Vice President, Internet Marketing & Web Development Solutions
As the head of Sabre Hospitality Solutions' Internet Marketing and Web Development efforts Robert Dawson leads the company's online technology innovations in the areas of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Website Development, Mobile Development and Custom Website Application Development. Previously Dawson was with E-site Marketing where, as co-founder and chief technology officer, he pioneered the development of hospitality Internet marketing solutions. Dawson has created many first-to-market technology products including RezTrack®, MCC (Marketing Communications Center) - E-site Marketing's RSS content management solution, and E-site Marketing's first AJAX-based hotel booking engine. Mr. Dawson possesses a solid background and expertise in Hospitality database marketing, computer consulting and yield management, software development and market research and analysis.
Prior to co-founding E-site Marketing, Mr. Dawson provided key marketing consulting, including yield management and property specific analysis, as database marketing consultant at Driving Revenue/Pegasus Solutions. He has also worked with Sunburst Hospitality Corporation/Choice Hotels/Manor Care where he was responsible for the development of top line revenues and corporate marketing and planning for over 30 hotels.
Paolo Torchio
Vice President, E-marketing & Revenue Consulting
Paolo Torchio leads the Solutions Consulting team with an aggressive and committed approach to comprehensive marketing & revenue generation, quality assurance and customer service. Torchio brings to Sabre Hospitality Solutions' clients a career dedicated to the hospitality industry with experience both as hotelier and marketing technology solution provider. Previously Torchio was with E-site Marketing where he led the Client Services and Consulting teams as well as played an instrumental role in the execution of executive leadership initiatives.
Prior to E-site Marketing he led the Business Intelligence & Database Marketing unit for Pegasus Solutions where he was responsible for reporting and analytics for over 50,000 hotel and 100,000 travel agent clients. Paolo also spent six years with Vail Resorts at both the property and corporate level.
Mike Kennedy
Vice President, Business Development
Mike has spent the last 25 years focused on creating, developing and deploying strategic solutions for the hospitality industry. Among other things, he served as CIO for three of the six major hotel brands, developed the industries first fully integrated RMS and deployed over 10,000 hotel based systems. With all these accomplishments, the one overriding key to his successes is the ability to conceptualize, define, construct and communicate the strategic vision in a way all parties can embrace and call their own. For the past 6 years Mike has been the President of SoftHotel.
Patrick Andrès
Vice President, Asia Pacific
Patrick Andrès is the Vice President of Asia Pacific and is a veteran of the Asian hospitality technology industry. He is presently spearheading the Asia-Pacific expansion of Sabre Hospitality Solutions. Andrès' well-rounded experience includes positions at the hotel level, in hospitality automation and electronic distribution. While based in Hong Kong, he oversaw the Asia region of Micros-Fidelio for much of the 1990's. At the time he opened both the Hong Kong and Singapore offices for the growing PMS vendor. Andrès recently served as Director of Business Development for Expedia Travel, focusing on building and implement the Direct-Connect interfaces between hotel reservation systems and the Expedia family of sites. A graduate of one of Canada's leading hotel schools, Andrès received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and has been a frequent spokesperson and panelist at industry events throughout the region.
Monique Jaspers-Wijn
Managing Director of Sales EMEA
In her role as Managing Director of Sales, EMEA, Monique Jaspers-Wijn leads the Sabre Hospitality Solutions' team in business development for the region. Jaspers-Wijn's expertise in the areas of online distribution, including revenue management and Internet marketing, has been instrumental in making EMEA the largest producing region in CRS transactions for the company.
Jaspers-Wijn has over 15 years in the hospitality business; prior to joining Sabre Hospitality Solutions she held various sales and marketing positions with TravelCLICK, Utell/Pegasus and Hilton Hotels.
Leandro Carvalho
Managing Director of Sales and Account Management, Latin America
Leandro Carvalho leads Sabre Hospitality Solutions' business development and account management teams for the Latin America market, including Mexico and The Caribbean. He has been instrumental in growing the Latin America customer base and started in 2006 by introducing the Synxis CRS products and services to the region.
Carvalho has over 17 years in the travel industry and has held key positions in account management, electronic distribution, marketing, sales and revenue management. While based in São Paulo, Brazil, he recently oversaw Accor Hospitality's Account Management and Sales teams in the Latin America region. Prior to that Carvalho worked for Utell Hotels & Resorts, looking after the Account Management team. Carvalho also brings a great knowledge of the Travel Agency and Airline markets and has been a frequent spokesperson and panelist at industry events throughout the region. Carvalho teaches classes on hotel, travel agency and airline operations, at the Tourism Graduation of UNIP University, in São Paulo.
