Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts sets on new Booking Engine “Guest Connect”

Personalised, user-friendly and functional: the state-of-the-art internet booking engine Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ “Guest Connect” of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts meets the demands of the guests - with a personal touch. Therefore, the Swiss hotel group launched this new booking engine at the end of January. 

Guests of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts take advantage with immediate effect of the new internet booking engine on www.moevenpick-hotels.com. With an appealing design and advanced technology, Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ “Guest Connect” guarantees an intuitive booking process, hence user-friendly and easy. At a glance consumers can check room availability in the selected hotel. In addition, guests have the possibility to save their profile with address and preferences in the reservation system. Once registered the guest can check their booking history and will save time in future bookings precisely because this personal data is stored in the guest profile. The state-of-the-art booking engine displays photos for each room type and provides travellers the information they wish in order to select the best room for their needs. After the selection of the room type, consumers have the possibility to book additional arrangements such as sightseeing tours, special meals and extra services - a personal attendance from the first touch. Furthermore, a currency converter simplifies the booking process for the guest.

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts expects a significant increase in both the volume of bookings and conversion rates from visitors to their website. The importance of online travel is increasing every day. For this reason, the Swiss hotel group decided to improve its internet booking engine in order to meet customer’s expectation of usability. “Today the guest experience starts online. The booking engine is seamlessly integrated into Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ SynXis Central Reservations System (CRS) platform. The SynXis CRS provides connectivity to all electronic distribution.
