Sabre Hospitality and TUI Group, one of the world’s leading tourism businesses, have launched phase one of their strategic partnership, integrating the Sabre portfolio into TUI’s Tour Operator portfolio by connecting TUI directly to Sabre’s Central Reservation System (CRS).

Through the integration, TUI and Sabre are taking the first step in the implementation of a fully automated and standardized process to setup, book and amend accommodation offers.

In today’s changeable travel climate, it is key to offer customers the choice, flexibility and quality service that they seek.

Martin Schreck, Chief Information Officer Sourcing & Assets at TUI Group.

“Through this partnership with Sabre, TUI is able to expand its offer through a broad variety of new accommodations and give customers the choice of diverse dynamic rates,” added Nicole Sohnrey, Director Markets Product Accommodation Only & Dynamic at TUI Group. “By getting closer to our hotel partners we are able to offer customers the increased flexibility and more personalized service that they seek”.

But the integration of the CRS is just the first step in this exciting partnership. TUI and Sabre teams are also working together to create a new, fully automated and standardized process to setup, book and amend accommodation offers.

“The processes involved in the hospitality industry are still very manual, particularly in the leisure sector.” said Frank Trampert, SVP and Global Managing Director Commercial, Sabre Hospitality. “The next phase of our innovative partnership will see the development of next level automation, in order to support and open up the leisure segment, thereby helping hoteliers to operate more efficiently, increase revenue and deliver the highly personalized experience travelers want and expect.”

In the following video, Frank, Martin and Nicole talk more about this exciting first milestone in the partnership.
